"Tymlor cast Water Breathing as the Clockwork Companions returned to the depths of Cael Morrow to find the key to Netherdeep.
They made their way past the library, the temple, and the ruins where they had found the tablet.
After swimming over a winding path, they reached a twenty-foot-high villa with double doors and a collapsed roof.
Floating in the middle of the ruined villa was a huge, jellyfish-like creature with barbed tentacles. Its bell was covered with a crystalline lattice and the blade of a ruidium greataxe was wedged in it. Beneath the bell, a tendrilous crimson mass crackled with energy and provided shelter for a school of tiny, sharp-toothed fish.
The jellyfish grabbed ACHU in its tentacles and, after being Hasted by Tymlor, Sarielle rushed up to engage it. Tymlor maintained his attacks from outside using Mind Whips as did Tik from farther away with Eldritch Blasts.
After a difficult fight, in which Tymlor had to intervene with Chronal Shift twice—once to stop Sarielle’s ruidium infection from spreading and another to prevent the jellyfish from petrifying her—the aquatic assailants were defeated. They retrieved the greataxe and Tymlor cast Tiny Hut so they could have a short rest.
Once they caught their breath, they returned to the base camp without incident.
The Clockwork Companions returned to the Temple of the Mentor, where Jamil thanked them with 1,000 gold coins and said he would be in touch in a few days.
The next day, they visited Mystic Pursuits where Tik purchased a Luck Stone and Tymlor requested more scrolls.
Then they visited the Allegiance of Allsight’s headquarters and spoke with Prolix."
