In the morning, the Clock Companions visited Mystic Pursuits where Amkezne lent Tymlor a Sending Stone to reach him, and sold ACHU a diamond crusher.
Afterward, they visited the Crystal Chateau so Tik could speak with Alakritos.
Tymlor purchased a pick for his Shield Guardian, and they all went back down to Cael Morrow.
When they arrived at the temple of Corellon, Tymlor instructed his Shield Guardian to dig out and collect all the Ruidium infused in the stone surfaces.
Outside the temple, ACHU cast Speak with Dead on the aboleth, but they could not understand its language and only gathered a little from what Tik could mimic. It claimed to be Apotheon and guarding the rift “because all they want to do is take.”
Leaving the Shield Guardian behind to mine, they headed to the collapsed building east of the rift. It appeared to have once been a tower. ACHU found a large symbol of Corellon buried under the floor covering a trap door. When they were unable to open the door, Tik blasted it with repeated Eldritch Blasts.
A ladder descended into a 10-foot-high, 20-foot-diameter circular armory filled with rotted weapons and armor. Among them, Tymlor detected a magic sword and shield.
Just then, they were attacked by three slithering bloodfins. During the battle, both Tik and Tymlor were swallowed by the creatures. Tymlor managed to escape using Dimension Door, but Tik did not and his attacker tried to swim away. Using Dimension Door again, Tymlor was able to catch up to the swift sea creature and trap it with a Wall of Force. He then cast Haste on Sarielle, who sliced the creature open and freed Tik. Unfortunately, he was already deceased and ACHU had to use Revivify on him.
They retrieved the magic items from the armory and made their way back to the temple, where they cast Identify on them discovering that they were a Shield of Expression and a Frost Brand Shortsword.
On the way from Cael Morrow, Tymlor received a message from Jamil requesting their presence the next morning.
Amkezne from Mystic Pursuits sent a message that some of their items are in. After purchasing scrolls of Lightning Bolt and Darkvision they headed back to the Temple of the Mentor for the night.
