After splitting up the small treasure nine ways, the two groups of companions continued on their way.

That afternoon, they encountered a dead Udaak in the distance surrounded by corpses. There were 24 human remains wearing hide armor as well as almost as many dead horses. While they were investigating, they were attacked by a Vrock. After killing the large demon, they found a dagger with the name Kierchly Wastewalker carved into it. They gave it to Irvan, who used a dagger.

They reached the Emerald Loop Caravan Stop around dusk, where they met the surviving members of the Wastewalker Clan after their encounter with the Yudaak.

That night, Tok and Tymlor were both contacted telepathically by Auntie Agatha.
