Quillstaff

This rare quarterstaff, engraved with stylized feathers, is surprisingly light (1 lb.). It has no magical bonus, but due to the weapon's design, it is a light, versatile, and finesse weapon.

When Making an Attack with this weapon, its wielder can use their Strength or Dexterity modifier for the Attack and Damage Rolls. The same modifier must be used for both rolls.

This weapon can be used with one hand, for 1d6 bludgeoning damage, or two hands, for 1d8 bludgeoning damage.

When the wielder takes the Attack action with this weapon held in both hands, they can use a bonus action to make an additional attack with the weapon. When used this way, they add their ability modifier to the attack and damage of the bonus attack.
