Dameron and Balthasar visited Delora’s and confirmed that there hadn’t been any further goblin trouble since she recovered Kai and avenged his abduction.
Dameron visited Father Derny at the Shrine of St. Aster. Dameron visited Aelfryd, Corr, and Dyll at his farm to confirm that reconstruction was proceeding as planned. Together, the Daring Friends visited Avarthel the druid. They informed her that Jarrett was the Black Bolt and that she had been on their revenge list. She rewarded them with three Potion of Healing and two Antitoxins. They went off to visit the wizard, Sertieren Amber, but they decided to come back when they had another magical item to trade for a Cloak of Protection, along with the Focusing Eye and Mourning Medallion. The Daring Friends were summoned to the Toll House where the Council awaited. Wiston requested they deliver a message, along with Gruffudd the dwarven Steel Renegade druid, to Gurney, the leader of Assardoth addressing concerns about hobgoblins and the trafficking of magical creatures. The reward was a town credit totaling 500 gold coins. Dameron visited Father Derny at the Shrine of St. Aster. As he was cleaning the altar, he was blinded by the sun’s rays and dropped a statue of St. Aster. Father Derny said it was an ill omen and warned Dameron to be cautious and humble.
